Good Evening everyone
Well another couple of days gamble free and its feeling ok. As I am going away for a few days over the xmas break this may be my last entry for a few days. Everything is going ok at the moment but Iknow I will have to be on guard over the break but I will be spending my time with family and friends so with a bit of strength and belief in myself i'm confident of getting through ok. To all of my new friends who i have come to know and with whoI share my battle I wish you all a very safe and happy christmas and hope that you get to spend some quality time with your family and friends as this is the time of year when friends and family are most important when we can reflect on our year and hopefully make our lives a better place to be in 2008.I heard a good quote the other day in regard to recovery and thought i would share it with you.......DONT COUNT THE DAYS........MAKE THE DAYS COUNT !. Well it meant something to me and I hope it does for you. As i said earlier its been a few days gamble free and it feels good, so good in fact I think i'll try it again tomorrow.Looking forward to a safe and gamble free xmas and new year wishing you all the same..
Pete

hey Pete,
Good job on remaining GF. We gamblers always have to be on guard because urges can happen at anytime and challenge our recovery.
Have a wonderful GF Holiday.
Hugs,
Liz
