This is just so stupid! So call Ins Co, their waiting a "Prior Authorization" from the doctor, basically a phone call saying this is in fact a medicine that patient needs for the treatment and why...are you freaking kidding! So I posed this question, slightly rhetorical I know seeing as who I'm dealing with but...so I ask "let me understand, despite the fact that you (Ins Co) have approved the cycle, you need a phone call to approve the drug for the cycle?!" to which I get "Well not all, but most injectables need prior authorization", so I say "well that's interesting to know since 90% of medication for IVF are INJECTABLES!" And would have been good to know 18 days ago! How here I go being ridiculous again but wouldn’t it make sense to when returning the approval  paperwork to the doctors office that they include a note saying/reminding them that the injectables will need this stupid “f’ing” prior authorization…HUMMMMMMM Wouldn’t that perhaps save me for having to run around leaving message with everyone telling them that I need my MEDS! Days before I need to start them!  Sorry just need to vent, will most likely need to again!
