So there’s now a chink in the armor. Left work early to get to the pharmacy to pick up ‘box o fun” and left empty handed and damn near tears! Turns out the Ins Co has yet to approve one of the meds, the first one naturally I asked, they need further clarification or some damned crap for the doctor, apparently a piece of freaking paper! NO PROBLEM, only starting this Friday or Saturday! So many things about this just threw me over the edge: -          First and foremost I LOVE that some dofus in the Ins Co claims office likes to play doctor!-          They’ve had 21 days to get this all in order!-          I made numerous calls to check and make sure everything was in order-          NO ONE called me to tell me my prescription was not there! -          NO ONE called me to tell me there was a problem! -          I skipped lunch when I wanted to go and take a nice mindful walk on one of the mild days (we don’t get many of those around here) to leave early, so skipped my calming time to what, get reallllllly freaking aggravated! Nice! Thank You!   Now I realize that this is just simple par of the course, that all of us go through this hell between doc offices and ins companies and hospitals and pharmacies, it just god damn why can’t they get the shit together! They need something for us and we better be damn sure we get it to them I don’ t know, what’s faster that ASAP, immediately, have foresight to already have it to them, what…needless to say WE get NO leeway! But they can “f” around we us and we can do little about it. Getting angry and screaming does little good, because lets face it, sugar attracts more than salt! Calmly complaining doesn’t seem to do a whole hell of a lot either. So we just have to take it while navigating the land mines they leave for us all the while keeping in mind the stress if counterproductive!   So I scream and rave here and to DH, try and get it out of my system so that I can calmly and rationally call all these people and inquire as to why the “f” they haven’t done their jobs! Who dropped the ball and how I can help and getting everything alleviated so that I can get my damn meds and start my cycle on time!
