So I’m take a moment to be very proud of myself! Whatever I’m doing is apparently working. I’m having lunch, sitting watching a little Days of Our Lives and reading my Conquering Infertility book during the commercials. A co-worker comes down and sits with me while she waits for the ladies room to free up. She notices that I’m eating tuna fish; we have a little conversation on light tuna verses dark tuna and then proceeds to tell me “Well you know you really shouldn’t be eating tuna? Your not eating a lot of it are you?” then back tracks slightly realizing she’s assuming I want children and or trying. Then its beings…you all know the conversation, watch what you eat, folic acid is good, this is what I did balhblah and got PG my first time, etc. I carefully contributed to the conversation and listened and thank her for the advice and “oh no your’ not intruding” all the while I’m thinking to myself – HEEELLLO Infertility book sitting right next to me! The irony was palpable! Once she left, I then started laughing at what is rather absurd under my circumstances. Then I realized what I had just done…survived! Came out of that situation laughing, not broken down and feeling awful but ok. SUCH a different place then I would have been say a month or so ago. I’m now waiting to go home and tell DH all about it so he can (hopefully) tell me how proud he is of me too. Gosh it can happen, in the middle of this shitstorm, I have a moment that confirms the fact that I am strong enough to get through this. There rare maybe, tomorrow might bring me just the opposite but today I’ll take it and milk it for all its worth because its worth a lot right now. So I wish you all the same, even if it’s just moments, reminders of how strong we are!

My hats off to you, girl! Good for you! I\'m happy you were able to laugh!!!! Seems work is the best place to gets TONS of unsolicited advice!!! I dont even really talk to people at work & this week alone I was told to get on an adoption list & we\'ll get pregnant. Do the Atkins diet & drink lots of water (one girl did that & told someone else to try it & of course they both got pregnant---so that works for everyone!). Thanks for sharing this, you made me laugh & not feel alone!
Way to go girlfriend!! I really think that once we gain our own personal strength in this journey we take back some of the loss of control. We do this in situations like yours. You rock sister!! :)
I am so proud of you, it sounds like you got through that completely unscathed! I haven\'t learned how to deal with it yet, I use creative avoidance. Btw, I love the analogy in your journal yesterday of the deer. It really hits home and helped DH and I talk a bit about it. Here\'s to a wonderful 21 days!!!
