I just had a great night. I went with my daughter to our school's basketball game against our big rival.  My kids are seniors in high school and my son was there also.  The gym was packed and the game was at the local junior college. I sat near the top of the stands with students of mine all around.  I admit that I did think of my wife for a second but mostly I talked with kids who I really like and care about and rooted for my school.  We came back from five down in the last three mintues to win the game.  It was just a really fun time.  Since I am a teacher at the school I know tons of kids and really enjoy being somewhere that I am liked and respected.  Tomorrow I go play in a golf tournament and then come home to watch my daughter play in a water polo game.  Life could be worse...oh ya, I do have 105 essays on Fitzgerald to read..but they will just have to wait!

I am glad that you spent time with your daughter. I could just see the smiles that were on your face at that game. Did you holler a lot? Was the game a little tense? Playing golf that is wonderful. Have fun.

Sounds like a great social schedule. Watching your kids and hanging around kids that love you and look up to you. UUUUhooo that has warm fuzzies all over it. I\'m so glad you have such a great environment for fun and enjoyment. You are in your zone and it\'s great. I\'m glad your weekend is off to a wonderful start.

You have your priorties straight. Besides the kids will probably breath a sigh of relief if you don\'t get to them right away. Play \"hookie\" for a few days and have some fun.

I am glad to see the normal things in your life bringing you joy again. I love being around all of my daughters friends too, teenagers just need to have adults that see their value. I am proud of you and how far you have come.
