I jinx'd myself..
Just talking to my friend..last night..about how I don't get any silly phone calls from my ex anymore.
Today I got the silly phone calls. Left him a message this morning to make sure he was planning to keep the dog while we go on vacation and how he wants to handle the "dog exchange"..
Played phone tag ALL DAY..he kept leaving me messages but not an answer to the question.
"I was in a debriefing and missed your call..try you later.."
"Missed you again..Call me back"..
about 4 of these and I finally called him and left him a message..WE DON"T HAVE TO TALK...just let me know..
He called again and I picked up. Made the arrangements.
He called a little while later. Didn't know if he thanked me yesterday for the fathers day gift. REALLY appreciates it but..in the future..a card will be fine. No need for a gift.
Guess he doesn't know that the gifts are not about him..they are for the kids.
I thought the silly phone call cycles were over. I am ready for them to be over. All day with his voice on my cell phone..
I am going to delete all of those messages..

He misses you obviuosly. Aren\'t you glad you are in such a better place that his calls are silly now? Can\'t wait till I get to that place - place of not wanting. Guess its annoying now, huh? NOw that you are finding yourself and your beginnings of happiness. Countdown is right.!
Maybe you could use a new phone system:
