Turned out to be a nice day..

Ex came and got the kids this morning for the day. I got him a card and a gift from the kids. Thank God for gift cards.

Got a whole lot done around the house..at a quiet and sane pace. I might actually be ready to leave for vacation on Saturday.

Picked up the kids at the ex MIL's..thought I might as well get it over with. I gave her a hug. I got a very chilly reception. No telling what conversations have taken place between her and my ex during the last few days. My relationship with her will likely turn out to be the same as the one that I have with my ex. Polite strangers. She told my mother that she will likely give up her place in SC after this year and stay in Florida. I feel bad for her but I just can't keep that responsibility. It belongs to my ex. He doesn't want it. The only thing that makes me feel a little less guilty is that she raised him...and he is so much like her.

I had some flowers delivered to my house today. Roses..and a very sweet card.

I really like this guy.  I might be in trouble..in a good kind of way.
