Talked to ex today..his day to pick up kids but he has to work late so he told me to take them to Karate and he would "marry-up" with me there.
Interesting choice of words... I told him that I would meet him there but would definately not be "marrying-up" with him..
Took the kids to Bed, Bath & Beyond last night to spend the gift card that I got for Mothers day. Had to stop in the candle section (of course). Anyway, we were smelling the candles and Connor smelled one that he said was "manly" and he wanted me to get it for his dad. I smelled it and it smelled pretty good. Not jumping up and down these days to buy the ex gifts. Reece smelled it and said "it smells like a man's underarms"
I bought the candle..lol

LOL, you made me laugh. Kids. Leave it to them for their openess and honesty and telling it like it is. And if it smells like that, please don\'t get me that particular candle--regardless of color. LOL. Well, the candle can be a Father\'s day present but doubt Connor can wait that long to give it to his dad. But that is nice of you to let the kids by their dad something; and even better-the way it smelled. Gotta tell me the name of it--so Carla can go buy her dad one--for Father\'s day of course.

choice of words must be a cop thing. My STBX always used that word. In fact, just days before the bust he talked about how happy he was that our jobs would be \"married\" again like us.??? Another reason I truly believed he loved and our marriage more than whatever was going on. Hmmph. Guess he loved the fact that his GF is a cop too--that is too cool. right. Her husband did say, he started suspecting Brett as his wife\'s newest affair when she kept talking about how cool it was for 2 cops to be married, etc. He alread suspected an affair before then, but until she kept making those statements and every other word out of her mouth was Brett-he truly never ever thought it could be Brett. After all, we were a foursome and we hung out--wasn\'t like she didn\'t know who I was and because of our \"foursome\" I knew her husband- enough to contact him. Glad I did. Glad they are busted, even though I am in great pain.
