Mom's coming home! 6 weeks and she will be better than new with her nice, even heart beat that she hasn't had in years. She is in good spirits. She got my dad to committ to the Alaska Criuse next summer, right before surgery, which is emotional blackmail but he can be a hard guy to pin down. Anyway, I am her witness. I want to go with them but have been informed that I can't take a "boyfriend"..assuming that I have one by next summer.. and I am not getting married just to go on a cruise!!
Nice day today. Feels like summer. Last full week of school here and I am as excited about that as the kids are.
Feeling today like I am just about ready to break out of this place that I have been in. Kind of stuck. Better but not better enough. Not for me anyway. Semi-functional and going through the motions is okay for a while but seems like a while has passed. Not quite sure what will get me to the other side. NOT ES..lol
I'll figure it out. I don't want my next step to be attatched to anyone..other than my kids. I am going to drag myself out (okay with a little help from my friends). I feel a breakthrough coming on.

Yea for MOM!!! Will be waiting for her quips of the day. Friends are great for times like these. I only have one very dependable one at the moment but I am in the processing of strengthening recently acquire ones (that sounds horrible, acquire??) and make it my goal to make more. I truly need others--for distraction purposes at the least. As for the possible boyfriend and cruise trip. I say either have him come in drag, LOL or have him meet you on the ship and you \"accidently\" meet. I\'m very creative when it comes to things like that--just not w/decorating and such. Enjoy the upcoming weekend. I\'ll be thinking about you and your kids\' upcoming Freedom. Celebrate Freedom -- for them and for you!
