So much for my resolve..did a little backsliding today.
1st time was when I was calling my IRA to "rob" it to pay for daycare this summer. Hard to not be mad about the fact that the large majority of the financial responsibility of the kids has fallen on me. BUT..I have the kids..and an IRA to rob when I need to. Could be worse..
2nd came when ex called..to coordinate some dates..vacation, when he is out of town to collect his mother, etc. That was going fine until he told me that the SWAT competition is the next weekend that he has them. I'll need to keep the kids some but he thinks they will have fun there. NOT if the gf is there..had a little bit of a heated discussion about that and he hung up. I'm easy to get along with until it comes to the gf and my kids. Glad about all of the court orders in place to keep them away from her. He can't and won't violate our divorce agreement. Too much risk with his job. That will help me sleep a little easier.
Got a Mothers day card from my ex-mother in law. YUK!! She will be back in town in about a month. Not looking forward to that. I think that I have mentioned her crazy antics when ex left. I finally had to give her the boot. I might have to devote a journal entry to her before she comes back..to get it off my chest.
Not much of a TGIF but I still have a little TGIF spirit in me. I'm going to get a few things done tonight. Drink my wine which is now out of the fridge and into a glass. Watch a chick flick or a Lifetime movie. Lifetime movies are great. The tragedies in those things make my life look perfect!! lol

With your ex\'s profession and job risk and all, you reminded me of something. The night stbx attacked me and called the cops, I had to talk them out of arresting her, and they offered a restraining on her. A restraining order is a horrible thing for a RN. Someone told me they can\'t dispense meds with that. I don\'t know if that\'s true, but it would NOT have been good for her at all!
Blues..that has been the good thing about divorcing a cop.. expecially when his boss is on \"team Cheri\".. I could have had his job but opted not to do that..BUT..there has been and will be no attacking, harassing, not paying child support (which sucks..because he\'s a cop)or violating court orders. You are nicer than me..I would have had him locked up!!
Standing firm on keeping kids from gf doesn\'t sound like backsliding to me! Wish I\'d had more court orders in place, but so far so good. TGIF, need to get some wine out of the fridge for myself soon!
Boy you just can\'t win, now the MIL is coming to town. I feel for ya, sister. Well just raise our glasses in my case a bottle and toast to a better week next week

Wine does NOT go in the fridge Ladies. Unless you pais less that $12 for it in which case it needs all the help it can get. My MIL is one person I will definately not miss. We should have a MIL day. No bashing. Just tell the straight story.
Like the time mine decided we needed new dishes and went to several garage sales to get them. Then proceeded to bring them in, took out the existing dishes, and put the \"new\" ones away without washing them.
mine was about $10..on sale..guess it needed the fridge!!
ROFL - mines was $11 - guess I *just* squeezed under the wire. brrrrr

The best thing about being away from my ex is that I hope to divorce his family. MIL and sister-in-law from hell. They are still my kids grandparents, but I am glad I don\'t have to go out of my way to see them anymore. I don\'t think there is enough megabites on this site for an MIL bash from us all.
