Moms surgery was cancelled for tommorrow and rescheduled for Monday. She was a little upset but really it's better to have a big surgery on a Monday morning than a Friday afternoon. AND..we will have our Mothers day weekend.
My sister sent me a song via e-mail titled "middle aged woman".. I think that the harrassment campain about me turning 40 has begun. The song is FUNNY..I want to share it with my DS middle-aged (or almost) friends but I can't figure out how to do it..any suggestion will be welcome. I don't know how to "link".. if thats what you call it.
Ran into some one I know. Male someone. Married someone who didn't act like it. He was anxious to show off his car, which I find obnoxious. A new Jaguar. He insisted so I looked and asked him..is that your wife's car?? Of course it was his and he was not happy about the comment so I made another one.." sorry..just think it looks kind of girly"..lol.. I wanted to kick him in the balls (sorry guys) for being disrespectful to his wife but I called his car "girly" instead. Same effect..lol

I spent my 30\'s doing the diaper drill. I\'m not worried about 40. Hope you like the song..a little \"crass\" but funny..
Any guy who gets his self esteem from his car is definitely lacking in other areas. (I have to say that - I have a Toyota Avalon LOL...NOT a lady pleaser, especially with all the junk the boys leave in the back seat)
For 40 I went snow skiing....for the first time. Diaper duty was the 30\'s for me as well.
Now 50 comes up next year (gasp!) and for that...hmm...I have a year to think about it. If I get stuck I\'ll just open a Discussion Topic on it - I\'m sure I\'ll get interesting ideas there.
I\'m sure that I will still be here next year..lol..I\'ll be looking for that discussion.
Love your comment about the car! I\'m getting divorced for my 40..Well I did take the kids to FL. But the birthday did seem a bit like any other day.
