I am not just a single mom now..I am also a single woman..
A later in the evening trip to the convenience store with Reece last night. I was ready for bed but he wanted to go. Just down the road. Hopped in the car and went in so he could get his juice. Seriously cute guy who talked to me for a couple of minutes.
I was wearing a t-shirt and my Christmas pajama bottoms. Green with ornaments all over them. Hard to carry on a conversation with cute guy with me looking like a Christmas tree..lol
Thinking last night about ex and his phone calls and other behavior that makes me think that he is regretting the decision that he made. 2 days after he left I told him that I was filing for divorce. He asked me not to do that. He asked if we could "seperate".
I could have done that. Let his new "relationship" play out. Given him time to realize what he had and what he was giving up. If I did that I may not have lost my marriage.
I would have lost myself.
I am certain that I made the right choice.

Sounds like your ex is blown away by the speed of the divorce as well. I,too, was a single mum well before we separated the first time - I did everything believing he was working each day. Well, he was working up a sweat somewhere, but it wasn\'t at his job!!! This is something that vaguely annoys be about the end ofmy marriage - the two years he took from me and our kids while he was having an affair.
Anyway, I ran into a cute guy I went to school with at the shop getting milk the other day. Problem was, I had just come from the gym and my face was red like a beetroot! Spoke to him for a while and thought I looked all physical and fit, but I really looked like a light pole....
Dang, girls, I\'m getting me some Christmas PJs and running to the 7-11!
