Any messy car people out there??
Just cleaned mine out. I could have fed a family of four with the cheese crackers, french fries and M&M's in the back seat. Gave up on the mats and got new ones. No sugar coating the condition of my car. It was gross.
So, the house is..well..better. My car is clean. Went to church this morning and my spirit is refreshed. Took a LONG walk with Reece and it gave me energy. I have recovered from last nights nightmare.
Beautiful day outside. Going out for Ice Cream later and going to drop some off to the same friends that moved last weekend. He also had surgery this week. They have a lot going on. Ice Cream makes everything a little bit better.
Talked to my sister and my closest cousin today. My two family members who have been through a divorce (divorces in my sisters case) and single motherhood. Not happy stories. My lessons from them are how NOT to do things. One reason why I am so fierce about protecting the kids from ex's girlfriend. Also the reason why I am trying to not let me feeling bad for the boys interfere with still parenting them. Thier children are grown..or close to it. Most of thier advise for me goes in one ear and out the other.
I had a moment of weakness last night and almost logged on to a dating website. Sent out an SOS to one of my DS friends who pulled me back. Thanks!!! I needed that. Not ready for that. Besides, it would take away from my DS time. I REALLY need that!!

Glad you had a better day - Hey I washed the outside of my car but couldn\'t convince my daughter to vacumm it. She is having too much fun playing with one of her friends. I can\'t vacum, still working on the ankle.
I understand the weakness but I have to tell you I\'ve heard both good things and bad things about dating sites.

You can clean my car if you want to. It\'s been nice here, a little cool and windy but the sun has been out. I almost looked at the dating sites again too, too soon for that. Good idea to come to DS when that crosses your mind. Being lonley can be so lonley. Good thing we have our kids..
It\'s great you have a good friend that helped you get through that moment of lust. LOL I really understand how you feel, maybe it\'s the warm spring air.
The car, absolutely, when you have kids, it\'s a given, just too much to do to keep it clean. Another one on a list of things to do and it gets done eventually, feels good and a week later looks like it did before you cleaned.
