Nothing funny about my day today...
Reece "showed out" this morning at school. Ex forgot his bookbag yesterday at daycare and it does not take much these days to set little guy off. School called me to come and get him. I tried to get in touch with EX who is supposed to be "helping" with these situations due to my job situation but he was unavailable. Left him an ugly message thanking him for his accessability in times of "crisis". Picked up Reece and took him to mom's for the day. 1 hr later and ex has not called back.
Been trying to avoid it but my financial situation is the opposite of pretty. Child support JUST covers my child care expenses and that bill is about to double for the summer. Selling this house would be bad for me and WORSE for the kids. Good news is that Connor is out of elementary school next year and will get out later, he can ride the bus home and I can be here..so AFTER this summer..no more daycare for Connor. Just have to hang in there. Spent about 1 hr last night working on my summer budget. Good thing I suck at math or I would REALLY be depressed.
Ex just called back and told me that he doesn't "blame" me for being pissed..what a guy!!
Fruit salad update.. he didn't take it!! Maybe he has developed ESP and knew that it might not be safe for consumption!
Cold and rainy this morning so I am going to stay home and catch up on some computer work.
Surely this day will get better!!!

My daughter didn\'t feel well and wanted to sleep in. I said ok.
See I don\'t talk to my husband (who is usually there during the day) and my son just didn\'t tell me last night that they had a gig this morning.
I figured my daughter would wake up tell daddy to take her to school late.
She called me all upset (they left for a gig).
Lucky for me their gig is in the same county as I live (never the case usually but lucky today)... Called son and said \"you and dad work it out\" -- she needs to get to school today.
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I\'ve been dragging my feet on the financials too, but this weekend I\'m doing it.
Now the challenge to NOT DRINK while I\'m doing it :-)

Alright more fruit salad, wait a minute, that\'s the same stuff as yesterday. I think I hate fruit salad.
That\'s sucks when that happens. I guess that\'s one advantage to our situation, I\'m the one that left something at home and have to run back to get it. Give Reece a big hug and kiss. I\'m sure every little thing will upset him at this point. Just keep reassuring him that you will always be there for him.
Chris..now THERE is an idea..budgeting under the infuence! Might try that next time..lol
How can you go on about your kids when I have a dog with bacterial AND yeast infections in both ears!! (jk - not about the dog though, he\'s miserable..)
Che I know what you mean about selling the house - it\'s disturbing and unsettling. My 12 year old is rebelling against it and at times acts ou on it. The other day in a rage he tore up a bunch of money (his own). My stbx taped it back together. I can\'t come down on them for this too much because hey - I don\'t know where we\'re going to live either.

The rough days must be in cards. My week too has been difficult at best. STBX, kiddos & OW took four days and are in New York City.....I really miss them.
Our brand new 1.5 yr custom house has been on market since mid-Jan. Some good interest, but no bites. My budget sucks too, STBX has not offered to pay anything this past month but mortgage, so I\'m really watching my $$$$ to a point. Got a job application at a local restaurant, in case I need to work part time on weekends, or nights STBX has kids. Will do what I need to do, and tell judge in Jan, when I file :)
Its difficult when other spouse is not in tune with things. All you can do is take a deep breath, and handle the situation. Unfortunately the spouse that has kids (and possibly were walked out on) have the enduring job of all. It is not fair, but at least you know the joy of seeing your kids most days.

Sorry about Reese\'s day, and yours. I have tried budgeting under the influence, or not budgeting at all, which could be why I got an overdraft email the other day...but who wants to be on Quicken when you can be on DS??
If i paid my bills I would probably get one of those too. think I\'ll do that later..
Don\'t budget under the influence. It\'s not pretty. Don\'t go there.
