me before the divorce..... kids up and ate breakfast, packed up karate or whatever other "gear" we needed for the day..off to school and on to my day

me after divorce.. crawling out of bed at last minute.. eggos or (can't believe I am admitting this) little debbies in the car on the way to school.. forgot the gear so I run back home sometime during the day to get it and, on Tuesday, drop it off at daycare for ex when he picks up the kids..today forgot the wrestling shoes when I made my trip back so ANOTHER trip back which lands me back in my house, middle of the day, to get the shoes.. still have to get to daycare to drop the stuff off and see 2 more patients..

Ex called me 3 times today and I finally picked up. Wanted to tell me that my voice mail is full so he can't leave me a message. Tell him I'll empty it..what does he want??? Nothing he says but then proceeds to tell me that he vacummed his house and EVEN moved the furniture around and vacuumed under it. I told him that if this is an enjoyable activity for him I have PLENTY of furniture that hasn't been moved and vacuumed under in a while and he can come over and have at it!! The gear will be at daycare. BYE!!

Cleaned out my voicemail and had to laugh. Almost all of my messages are from my ex or flower guy. My ex always starts with "hey Cher" flower guy's is "hey baby".. Playing them back to delete I hear.."hey Cher" "hey baby" "hey Cher" "hey baby"..lol

The two "adult" men in my life. One makes me smile and the other one makes me contemplate poisoning fruit salad.

Your too funny. It\'s amazing how our days are like that. I think you know my situation with my stbx and I moving in and out the house with the kids staying put. So naturally there were times I forgot things. Try wearing dockers and an Oxford shirt with tennis shoes. LOL I just didn\'t realize I didn\'t bring my dress shoes until I got ready to leave for work (OK this has happened a couple, well few times) Few people at work know my situation, but those who do now laugh when they see it.

He called to say he vacuumed? Glad he didn\'t go into details about the septic tank...

Well if I had your # I\'d leave \"Hey Kid\". Actually, can you take that message here? I\'m a tad short on time lately ;)

My stbx did mention that he took a trip to Ikea, and now HAS some furniture. I think I saw a folding lawn chair in his living room on Monday when I dropped off the kids. That will probably be the kid\'s big Spring Break day with Dad tomorrow...assembling dressers with allen wrenches...

HOLLY....didn\'t let him take ANY furniture???

I did! He took the bed we slept in for 11 years. I got a new one.

I just happened to keep all 3 couches. Wasn\'t going to give up the sofa bed, and the other two are a set. Did let him take the vacuum though! And the bigscreen TV. Oh, and don\'t forget the blender!!!!

Besides, if I sent him off with furniture, Little Miss S wouldn\'t have been able to do so much shopping! (Bedroom suite, sheets, towels, dishes, wine glasses, new \"younger\" clothes for him, pink striped hoodies for her...) Figured if he really wanted seats for the living room, there are always the ones from the 3 karmann ghias still in the garage.

I kept my bed..too comfy to let him have it. I also kept the antique dining room table that has been in his family for YEARS!! Some other things that were hers or his grandparents too. he didn\'t want to take them but his mother was PISSED!! MY mother offered to get a truck and drop them all off in her living room.she declined and asked, nicely, that I leave the antiques to the \"children\"..who else would I leave them to??
