Nice day with my family. Still not used to my brother and his kids living in US and around for these days. Had fun with the kids and the 100 eggs that I filled for the easter Egg hunt. My nieces and nephew are still adjusting to living in US and all that we have here. 6 yr old niece says that the Easter Bunny in America is "very nice".
Ex didn't call kids this morning so I had the kids call him to say happy Easter. Had the kids call my ex-mother in law too. It is Easter, after all.
Ex told Reece that my fruit salad is his "favorite" so make sure "mom" saves him some. I did and MY mom had some suggestions about what i could do to that fruit salad before I give it too him. FUNNY!! My mother is the single most kind and generous person I have ever known but she has NO compassion for my ex. She can find something good in a serial killer but not my ex.
Going to bed early tonight. Back to work tommorrow. UGH..
p.s. Ex won't get his fruit salad until Tuesday...any suggestions??

Having your family around on holidays is so great, huh? I was able to spend the day at my parents with my kids. My stbx, came home around 3:00 am this morning and was here when the kids got up. I let her sleep in the bed, I took the couch. I really wasn\'t being nice for two reasons, one the couch is better for my back and two, my little one fell asleep in our bed and she is one restless sleeper. I know your mom doesn\'t like your x, but I hope she doesn\'t say or act that way in front of the kids. That was very generous having the kids call the ex-MIL. Seriously, you are a great mom for doing that. Your kids will appreciate it someday. Have fun at work tomorrow, I\'m off, gonna watch the kids.
kids were oputside when mom was going on about the ex..she is like me..not going to say anything that might hurt them..she HATES my ex but LOVES my kids!!!!
I\'ve reminded my kids to call their mother before. But sometimes I would not remind them on purpose, may be out of anger at her. I should remind them because it is good for them. She doesn\'t call them very much, sometimes it would be days.
My mil still seems to like me - I plan to send her flowers for working so hard on staging the house - I should be able to get a deal on carpet and tile in my next house too from her!
