My Friday! Off the rest of the week. Kids home and happy to be at home.
Got a call today that a few months ago would have made me cry but today made me laugh. My financial guy. Guess the technical term is "advisor". Yes I have one. See him about every two years to talk about kids college, retirement, etc. Time for a visit he says. Filled him in on recent events and told him that when I am ready to face my financial situation I will give him a call. That will be never but I didn't tell him that. Not going because I know what he will say. I need to sell my house but I don't want to sell my house and I am not going to sell my house so no need to go. I will get the kids through college somehow and retirement is the least of my worried. I have a retirement fund and I will get half of his! Have to admit that I love the fact that when he is 80 yrs old he will get a monthly reminder of me and this situation that he created. Maybe someday I will have a financial guy again. Right now all I need are my little guys and my flower guy!!
Reece woke up today with an earache and my ex called to see if he was "allowed" to take him to the Dr. If I had to ask anyone that question I would know that there was something BAD WRONG with my life. Anyway, i guess that he technically does. I told him to go ahead and take him and met them there. 1.5 hrs in exam room with my ex due to an emergency with another child. FUN!! Gave him "the letter" when I left with the kids. Glad I wrote it!
Decided that today is quit smoking day. Have not been smoking alot but have been smoking everyday and I don't want to get back in that. Bought some nicoteen gum just in case it is harder that I think it will be.
Some computer work top do and I am going to forget about work for the next 4 days and enjoy my kids and my family.

My college fund plan: when kids start high school, I have 4 years to find a job at a local university library, then they go there for free. Foolproof, no? :)
perfect!! I bet there is some kind of job that I could get at a college. hmmmmmm
Smoking gum huh? I tried that a few years ago and found myself starting to crave the gum, even though it tastes kind of nasty. Ended up cold turkey worked better. Only I started back later...dummmmmmmmmm
