I had a very nice and productive day but my entire family was talking about my house tonight and what a mess it is. Okay, there was a ketchup bottle underneath the love seat and my kids socks are scattered all over the house and the computer table had not been dusted in ...hmmm... no idea!
Mom thinks that I am depressed and that is why I have let the house " go". I told her that I am fine..maybe the house is depressed!
Anyway..cleaned and moved things around at the same time and I am hoping that todays motivation will spill over to tommorrow and I can finish!
My computer is downstairs and now I can get on it without disturbing anyone. I might never get off!!

I love the concepet that the \'house is depressed\'.
Hell when I get my new place I\'m paying for a maid.
I\'m too damn busy to clean and I have 2 grown up kids who should do it.
But I end up doing it.
It\'s not easy today with kids and our busy schedules to have the kind of homes our mothers kept because they were at home.
My mom busted major butt when we were little to keep an immaculate home.
I have a lived in home. If I have company or a party then it is major clean, I clean weekly but sometimes life has a way of taking you over.

I am typically a neat freak. I started my spring cleaning this weekend. Organizing everything, you would think that I had nesting syndrome or something. Sometimes I have to push myself, but I always feel better when the dishes are in the dishwasher and the toaster is put away. kitchen cluter drives me insane. I could go on and on about cleaning, maybe a little OCD. What to you think?
I think that I need to catch it!! I am the most unorganized person I know but before my divorce I managed to get it all done. My toaster stays out. I don\'t put things away that I use all of the time. I am going to f/u on Holly\'s tip and let flylady show me the way!!
That sounds like what my mother used to say about her house. But I never saw anything wrong with it. So there was the daily newspaper still around the coffee table or a dish or two not in the sink. So what! It still looked like a liveable house.
Hey, if you want to see a mess, look at my house. You can\'t sit down anywhere, not even to eat a meal. I can hardly get my bedroom door open to go in to go to sleep. So be thankful for what you have, or the mess you don\'t have, haha.
