I hate Mondays!!!
Morning started off pretty badly..new sneakers for 6 yr old are too small and ex did not send his old pair back with him soooo a little Monday morning tragedy..all the while 10 yr old is fussing about how we are going to be late for school and he is going to get a " tardy".. those of you with kids... know these mornings?????
J has a court date today. Very strange because the guardian asked for the court date based on a barrage of phone calls that she got from J's stbx. Her lawyer didn't even know about it. Guardian actually told J's lawyer that she called the hearing because J's ex " begged" her too. Not sure what it is about but something to do with his driving record which is not great but not THAT bad...no dui's or anything like that. She is grasping and I don't think that it will get her anywhere..2 judges have given him custody BUT I guess you never know what can happen. I'll be a little stressed today until it is over. The up side is that this is her very last card to play. She has done and tried it all. If this one does not work maybe she will FINALLY be ready to settle.
I'll be glad when today is over and things are all okay! I asked my ex to get started with my 10 yr old on some pretty big school projects, particularly a report about the field trip that my ex went on with him. He bought some paper and sent it home with him. That was his "contribution".
I declare today " My ex is a dumb-ass" day!!

Yes, I know those challenging kid mornings well! (In fact, if we don\'t shop soon, all our shoes will be too small too.) Hope your day gets better!
I wish I could get my 3 boys to worry about being late! And lawyers. I don\'t recall the play but in one of Shakespears works is the line, \"First we kill all the lawyers\".
Monday mornings can be tough especially with little ones. Hope your Monday evening is going better.
Maybe we should start a holiday called dumb-ass ex day! Only we get off the ex\'s have to work :-)
