Been a While
It's been quite a while since I wrote an entry. I have been very busy. My old Harley lost the back cylinder for some reason. I took it to the shop yesterday. The old girl only has 140,000 miles on her. Maybe it won't cost too much to get her going again. If it does, I may have to bring her home in a box.
I don't write much anymore in my journal. I pretty much tell my friends what's happening most of the time anyway, on a regular basis.
I stay busy playing piano, doing odd jobs and helping others wherever I can. I have been blessed with much.
Some friends here do not converse with me much, even after I message them numerous times but, they are busy and have their own priorities in their lives.
People have asked me, being an ex-biker, why I have an AVI of a dove flying. This AVI was sent to me by an acquaintance here. It represents to me the freedom my son has now. It is nearing the 10th anniversary of his death on July 6, 2005. I get very down this time of year but, a very "special" friend here has made me "stand up" and feel better about things. I can't thank that friend, enough.

I hear you about not being on much. I\'ve only come on the last month to keep up the spirits of two friends on here that are having a rough time. One with her own health problems, the other with her dad\'s health problems. I do what I can for them.
140,000 miles is a lot for a car, wouldn\'t it be a lot for a bike?
Yes Andrea, that is a lot of miles. The old gal has been a good one. I have owned her for many years. She\'s a 89 model.
