I lost a good friend today. He was found at 6am this morning, dead. Details of his death are speculative at the present time. They believe he fell off a balcony at a local pub. An Autopsy was done this afternoon.
He was 46 yrs. old. His wife committed suicide 11 months ago. 15 months ago, I did his son's wedding.
I have breakfast at the local coffee shop, 5 mornings a week with his dad. I have known his family all my life. I even knew his grand-parents. I have known this family close to 60 years.
I went to the home of my deceased friend. His dad was there along with many other friends and relatives. His mom is on a cruise in Alaska, They contacted her and she will fly in tomorrow afternoon. His daughter is here and his son is in the Marine Corp. in Australia. They have found him, on manuvers in the outback and he is scheduled to fly in Sunday.
I know exactly how his family feels. I lost my son in 2005. My heart goes out to this family.
No funeral arrangements have been made at this time. This is very, very tragic and sad.
