What a Day

Last night, my friend Sue kept calling me every 10 minutes, telling me the same thing over and over again.  Her last call was at 11:45pm and I finally had to shut my phone off, to get some sleep.  I had to get up at 4am to get to the hospital 80 miles away, for the lady who is a member of my church, having hip surgery.
We got there about 6:10 am, had prayer with her and they took her to surgery about 7:45.  Her husband, my wife and I went to the local Cracker Barrel to get some breakfast and my friend Sue called me again at 8:15 ranting and raving again about the same things.  She heard my wife say something in the background and she told me to tell her to stop talking, it was rude to talk when someone else was talking.  I told Sue that she was talking to someone else.  She then said you need to do what I say.  They think I am crazy here.  She talked for about 10 minutes, then asked me who she was talking to.  I told her it was me and she wasn't sure it was me.  I told her that she called me.  She said well, I guess I will get off and she hung up.  We finished breakfast and went back to the hospital.  I turned my phone off.
After this lady came out of surgery, we went and saw her for a few minutes and she was groggy of course.  We then hugged her family members and we left the hospital.  I turned my phone back on and there were 4 more voice mails from Sue.
Yesterday, I received 11 phone calls from her and today I received 3 calls plus 3 voicemails.  Yesterday and today, she would ask me "who am I talking to"?
They transferred her to another city to a facility that handles "problem patients".  Her daughter had her phone shut off this afternoon.   This is sad and I am emotionally drained from the past 2 days.  Man, I need a break.
