I'm back

I am back for being gone for a couple of months.  I had to help take care of my ailing sister.  She is 76 and spent many days in and out of the hospital.  She won't ride in an ambulance so, she had me take her.  She ended up in a nursing home but, she is doing much better.  I went there today and played a piano concert for the residents there.  I do this every month.  I wheeled her back to her room after the concert and helped her in bed. I have Marty Haggard (Merle haggard's son) coming to my church next Friday the 19th.  He is a good friend.   I also had some health issues that needed  addressed and those are taken care of now.  All the test came back fine and Dr. was pleased. My little church is till growing and I hope to see over a hundred in membership by the end of this year.  I stay very busy but, I love what I do. I came here to DS to try and help others and to be a blessing to others.  That goal has not changed even though there are those who have turned their backs on me and have chastised me for being a preacher and being on this site.  I have always said that I am just a fisherman.  I catch them and let God clean them.  I am no-one's judge and I don't look down on people.  I never cram religion or christianity down anyone's throat. last night at prayer meeting, my wife stood up and said that she was priviledge to have me as a husband.  That I had always treated her with respect and that I am the best man she has ever met.  She said she had been treated badly by men all her life till she met me and that she was blessed to have me for a husband because I allow her to be her and I never get mad at her for being the way she is.  Those attending the service all applauded.  I have been so blessed.  There is a scripture that says "for those who have been forgiven much, love much".  I am that person and I extend that same love to others.  This is what I do, this is who I am.
