Another pain filled day is upon me. I hate not being able to get around without a lot of pain. My hubby and I were supposed to go and help out his aunt and uncle with working their cows. They also have 2 of our cows and a miniature horse and baby they are trying to work for us. I wanted them for my grandkids. (The horses) But, of course, here I sit , unable to go with him. It is usually a lot of fun when we help with the cattle. There is always a big feed and a bonfire. Oh well, just another fun thing FM provides us with! I cannot wait until I get to go to the Rheumy. I hope he can offer me some help. I really don't think all this pain I am suffering from is from FM. I think it may be from my back, and all this degenerative and demineralization of my bones.( Those are the terms they used when they read the MRI!) Whatever all that means. I guess The degenerative changes, I understand. Since I have been told forever that I have degenerative disc disease. Everything I read on demineralization refers to Rheumatoid arthritis. I can't seem to get an answer from my doc. He kinda dances around it when I ask him if I have RA. He says we'll have to do some blood tests, but never does them. Instead he sends me to a specialist. Why are me and my insurance paying all this money out for all these tests if I am not getting any answers?! Don't get me wrong, I totally LOVE my doc and he has been my saving grace thru this whole journey with FM. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life(atleast the nicest that has to deal with sick people! LOL!) He has even told me I can call him at home if I am in bad shape. But, of course I will never do that. After all doctors need rest too. Lol! I just wish I knew what was going on! Before he told me he wanted to send me to this rheumy, he said he thinks I might have some other kind of muscle disease in addition to the FM. But, he never said what and I never thought to ask him, because in the next breath, he said he wanted to send me to this Rheumy. Oh well, I guess I should learn patience. Worrying only makes things worse. Onward, brave soldier! Hope all is good for everyone else! Have a great day!
