Well, this darn knee thing is really flaring me up. I did see the bone doc and he had me get an MRI of my knee. Since they only have an MRI truck come to theses small towns, the MRI has to be read in another town about 50 miles from here, so unfortunately , it takes awhile to get back. The appointment for me to visit with the bone doc about the results of the MRI was for today at 9:30. But, it didn't happen cuz the MRI didn't come back, yet. Now the docs office will be closed on Monday. So, it looks like I won't find anything out until next Tuesday...maybe! Good thing I am not dying! Other than of pain! I cannot hardly stand up after being sat down for a little bit. I am so thankful that I went to see my doc (had to have a biopsy done of a mole that's changing no results on that yet either!), Thank goodness he gave me a prescription for a double strength pecocet and double ambien, since the pain doesn't let me sleep either. The x-rays I had a couple of weeks ago said that I have more degenerative changes in my lumbar part of my spine and that my knee has demineralization of the bone. My doc says as soon as we get the knee fixed, he wants to do some tests to rule out rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. Lord, what's next! I had all of those tests 8 or 9 years ago and they all were negative. Hopefully it's still the same. Well, I gotta go get my meds from the pharmacy before they close. Otherwise I'll really be a hurting unit by Monday! Hope all is good for everyone else. Have a painfree as possible weekend!
