Sunday morning

Ahhh... Sunday morning, my favorite time of the week. It's so quiet and peaceful, no traffic rushing by, cup of coffee, all is right with the world. Gotta get in the shower and get ready for church in a little while, but this is my ME time. Even Norman is asleep at my feet, though he does look a little peeved when I have to step over him to go get a refill of coffee.

Not much exciting happened in Deb's world last week, just a normal week of going to work, coming home, napping, and TRYING to get a little housework done. It seems to be getting harder and harder to get things done. Even if I'm feeling good, there is a level of fatigue there that just won't quit. My mom would help me out I know, but I hate to ask her to come help and me not be able to be doing something at the same time. It just goes against my nature. My office/computer room looks like a tornado hit it....twice. I guess I just need to get a big trash bag and start with one thing at  time, and eventually it will get done.

Some good news....neuro finally gave me something to help with muscle spasms/restless legs at night. He gave me 5 mg diazepam (Valium) and it has really helped tremendously. It also helps me sleep a little better, and I don't wake myself up with my legs trying to do the tango. I guess I had never really presented this as a big problem before, but I did at the last visit so he finally gave me something for it. Thank you Dr. Putman. I have the best neuro, I've been with him for 17 years now, and heaven help me if he ever retires. I tried to go to another neuro a few months ago, and that was a big mistake, so back to Dr. Putman I went. And there I will stay.

I want to send a special note here to JaniM..... Jani, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother, and that I haven't spoken to you in such a long time. It makes me feel lower than a snakes belly in a wagon rut that I haven't been there for you during this time. I only hope that someday you can forgive me. You and LeeAnne are two of the most special people on this site, and I love you both very much. I just stayed in my own little comfort zone for way too long, and ignored everything else around me. I'm hoping that we can all become good friends again.
