Good morning all. It's Saturday, July 12th, 7:41 A.M. I can't believe I'm up so early on a Saturday, but the past few weeks I've been getting up at like 5:30, so sleeping until 7:00 is sleeping in for me now. My mother says it's a sign of getting older; so with the wrinkles on the backs of my hands, the gray hair and the menopause (YAY!), I guess I'm beginning to show my age a bit. But you know what? I DON'T CARE!! I've never understood why some people don't like to tell their age, to me it's a privilege to have lived almost 42 years and I'm proud of every damn day. As for the gray hair, I've earned every one of them, and I don't intend to color them ever again. Maybe. I dunno. Things are going very well here, I am now totally moved out of the house, and have all my junk piled into this little apartment. I still have a lot to go through, and lots to throw away or get rid of, but I can take my time now. Anybody need any coffee cups? I used to have a coffee cup fetish, and I've got so many it ain't funny. I don't know why, I can't use but one at a time, or two if I have a guest. It's the same thing with pens. I have hundreds of pens, and all my doctors offices have learned to hide the drug rep pens when they know I'm coming. I count it as a failure if I leave a doctor's office with only one pen, a good trip is at least 3-4. It seems I'm not writing much about my MS these days, but that's because there's not much to tell. I haven't had any exacerbations since the numb feet in March or so. Maybe it will happen again soon, maybe it won't, but if it does, I feel much better equipped to handle it. I'm at a happy place in my life now, and can roll with the punches. I've tried not to say too many bad things about Greg here, but I'm gonna say a bit now.....he was a very negative person, always seeing the worst of a situation instead of looking for the good. He acted like I was practically at death's door when I'd go to the hospital for an IV treatment. I don't need that, and can't live like that. Every time I went for an IV, I almost had fun with it, cutting up with the nurses, making fun of myself and just trying to make the most of a bad situation. If you can't find a bit of humor in any situation, life will be miserable. And I ain't a miserable kinda person. Anyway, I guess that's enough for now, but thanks to all for listening. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!!!
