Good afternoon all. Well, it's lunchtime, I guess that's close enough to afternoon. I am now day 2 post IV, and day 2 of prednisone. I can't decide what I'm going to do today, yesterday I WAY overdid it, did most of my laundry, cooked, cleaned the kitchen twice, went shopping with my mom. Today feels like it will be a chill day, maybe do a little something here and there, but nothing like yesterday. I didn't get up until 10:30 this morning, the doc gave me some Ambien to help me sleep through all these steroids, and my god, I had forgotten how well that stuff works. The past 2 nights I have been asleep when Greg got home, and he's had to wake me up and roll me over to keep me from snoring so he can get some sleep. I've tried to be a good girl and sleep on my stomach, but I can't always do that.   Anyway, I've been working from home this week, and I can't decide if I would like to do that all the time or not. It's nice being able to work in my jammies, but I can't seem to budget my time and make myself sit down for a couple of hours at a time to get things done. I do a little bit here and there, then come back a couple of hours later and do some more. I guess it's a nice option to have in cases like this, but I don't think I'd want to do it all the time. My bossman has been wonderful, they've provided all the supplies I need; paper, ink cartridge, and so forth, so they really don't mind me doing it as long as I get the work done. I know I've said it before, but I work with some really good people, they are like a second family to me. I couldn't have found a better place to work, or better people to work with.   I'm so hyped up right now, I could write all day long. Y'all might want to go to the bathroom and grab a cup of coffee or something. Norman is sitting in the window right beside my desk, he has not left my side the past few days. I think he wishes he had some little kitty earplugs for when I'm snoring so loud, but bless his little orange heart, he's put up with it. Greg is doing his best to put up with it, but I think it annoys him a little more than it does Norman. I have to remember that Greg works some hellacious hours, and needs his rest and sleep as much or more than I do. I'm trying to do what I can to make it up to him, by cooking and laundry and stuff, but nothing really makes up for lack of sleep. I'm just trying to make it a more pleasant place to come home to when he does get home. Today I'm cleaning the humidifier and am going to start running that again at night, so maybe that will help out with the stuffy nose and snoring.   So, I guess I'll go throw another load of laundry in, and find something else to do, I'm running out of things to say here. A very special hello to all my friends, I love you all and do so appreciate your support. To JaniM and LeeAnn, if I start walking right now, I could probably be out to NM in a couple of days, and hit FL on my way back, so if y'all hear someone knocking on your door at 3:00 in the morning, it'll be me. Just throw me a pillow on the couch and I'll be fine. Talk to y'all soon, or maybe sooner, who knows..........

You have not knocked on my door yet? But you are always welcome...I know how the steroids get you zipping along. You just can\'t seem to want to slow down. I can imagine how clean your home has to be. Wish I had a couple of days of that energy. Norman is great....Greg is so lucky to have you. You are so considerate of him. Give him some ear plugs....

You are right about working at home. I tend to spend too much time when I start working my auctions etc. I probably work longer then if I was in an office. Having great people who work with you, is hard to find. I would try to work as long as I could or maybe do some home on bad days and go into the office on good days. Maybe that could be worked out. Take care, and Hang in there. Been without internet service for 2 days...ugh....read my journal to catch up on my Drs Appts. Love ya

You are welcom here too honey, but I ain\'t there!~ You can come to Kansas! I\'m here visiting with my daughter. That is closer than clear out west!! So glad you are feeling better and the numbness has subsided. Wish I could get some of that energy. I\'m having a wonderful visit and am going to the OB with my daughter tomorrow :) She is 11 weeks now :) with the little peanut.
God bless you and thanks for all your special words. Love & thinking of you and sending a BIG ol hug. take care and hope you don\'t crash too hard. Keep up the tapering of pills.
I am getting some kitty love here. My daughter\'s 2 kitties: Chester and KC. They are brownish tabbies, so lovey and I am enjoying them so much. Give Norman a scratch behind his ears for moi.
Love ya girl, Jani
