Monday, March 31st, 7:02 PM. The neurologist appointment went well today, and he agrees that I should stop the Betaseron, and switch to Copaxone. Now it's just a matter of getting it all set up, finding the co-pay assistance and so on. I have to say, I'm so excited, I had been leaning torwards Copaxone in the past few days because I'm still not sure about Tysabri. Anyway, if all goes as planned, I should be starting in about 3 weeks or so. It will be so good to be fighting this damn MS with something that doesn't make me feel like total crap. Betaseron was good to me for almost 12 years, and I'm grateful it was there, but the side effects have become intolerable and it's time to move on to something different. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, they are much appreciated. :-)
