Well, the morning after the first IV. I slept about 2 hours last night. For some reason, my shoulder flared up again yesterday, I don't know if it had anything to do with the IV or the postition I was laying in while it was being done, but it HURT last night. Between that and the Solu-Medrol, I feel lucky to have slept 2 hours. I'm going to work for a little while this morning, probably just long enough to put out any major fires, the rest of them can smolder till I feel better, lol. I forgot to tell in my update yesterday how I had to roll some heads at my neuro's office. They couldn't find a home health care agency with a pharmacy that would come out to my house. So they actually thought I was going to drive to their office for 3 days (30-45 minutes through very heavy traffic). I not so politely refused to do this because it's not my fault their head scheduler was on vacation this week and the girl filling in for him didn't have a clue about what she was doing. So to make a long story short, I ended up having the IV's done at my local hospital, about 10 miles from my house. It was actually nicer than it would have been to have it done at home, the nurses knew what they were doing and I was lucky to be there at dinnertime. The food in our hospital is actually pretty good. My mom is taking me this afternoon, so I have told her what time we need to leave in order to be there for dinner, lol.
