kept my son home from school 2 days to start the week, running a fever bad cough and just generally felt like crap.  this is what i text to his mother   KEPT SON HOME 2DAY HE HAS A BAD COUGH AND HAS RUN A LOW GRADE FVR OFF AND ON SINCE SAT NITE  her reply  THEN Y DIDNT YOU CALL SOONER  &  LET ME KNOW HOW HIGH HIS TEMP IS   i replied  ITS BEEN LOW GRADE OFF AND ON  I CAN HANDLE IT.   She immediately calls  our son to ask if he is ok and if she needs to come and get him.  I know that a mother worries about there young yet it bothers me that she resents me being able to take care of our son.  What is so sad, the last time he was sick she called me to handle it as she was to busy,  SHE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A JOB
