SSI
On August 31st I went to Portland to see the judge regarding my disability claim to SSI, which I had applied for in June 2009, and which had been denied based upon 2 so called "medical experts" who barely examined me. I have worked hard to prove my disability over the last 2 1/2 years, and have finally been approved.
It was a long struggle, and I'm really tired. The transition from Maine State Social Care to SSI is going to be stressful, but only for a short time. I've also been put on Medicare, which I do not understand (I think the rules were written by the same people that wrote the tax laws, because it makes as much sense).
