Matt's stone arrived the day before my birthday on 3rd April, it looks nice. Will try and upload a photo when I can. Feeling very emotional and alone at the moment not looking forward to the 8th , hubby said he's going to have the day off work as he wants to go to where Matt was killed and put some flowers there, he got narked when I said I didnt want to go there ,the same route that we had to take to go to the Hospital to identify Matt, am I wrong in not wanting to go there? to me the day is going to be painful enough.

It is hard for each person. My husband and I want to go to the crash site and place flowers and our sons bowling ball we are having engraved with the dates as it has his name on it (the site is next to our cabin -just a 1/2 mile up the road, so we might just place the ball there at the cabin) BUT our other two children DO NOT want to go. BUT two of our sons friends wish to go with us to \"see\" where Brandon died and place items at the site... It is a 3 and half hour drive to get there so it is not a small drive but what to do?

It is so different for each person. You may want to be there for him but that will be your call. It is tough like you said. I wish you the best. Talk to him about this though. You are not wrong for not wanting to go. It is heart breaking to say the least.
