Well hello again journal old bean!!! Had a rant today on the community discussion page about tom cruise and his bloody scientology lot. Normally my policy is live and let live, people can believe in whatever they want as long as it gives them some form of comfort, but when they cross the linelike this chump is doing then it makes me mad!!!Who the hell do these people think they are, they have read some daft science fiction book and believe it to be true, even when john travolta made a film about it nobody went to see it because it was dull and stupid...id sooner believe star wars or star trek, in fact isnt the jedi 'religion' now bigger than them anyway??? Religion should be a personal thing and not something that you are trying to ram down someonelses throat. When i am approached by people in the street or if they come to my door i simply tell them that what i believe is none of their business, why do they do this???? I dont understand the need to recruit people into your faith, if people believe they will come other than that leave them alone.......scientology isnt a religion anyway its a bloody cult....the more that comes out about this the more people will turn away form him and his cohorts, will smith, kirsty alley, john travolta, mimi rodgers and many many more....they are even calling him their version of the messiah....what a fucking joke, and what a self important prick to let them. What i want to know is why does america put up with this crap, why does oprah and all the others pander to his needs??? We are in an age where celebrity rules and it scares the hell out of me. These people are no more or less than the rest of us but they are put onto pedastals and 'worshiped'...we are definatley in a sad place...all i can say is god or E.T. help him if i ever run into him.....i shall leave now and self implode, hopefully i will be calmer tomorrow....ttfn
