Today has, been somewhat of an ok day. I am kinda nervouse cause I wrote a poem about killing myself and there was also a vauge referance to me being gay in it. I set it on my chair while I went to talk with my choir teacher. while I was out one of my freinds picked it up and read it. Now I am just waiting to see if he tells my counsler about it, which would suck so bad. I am in the middle of writing two six page book reports and studying for an AP Calculus exam. So, aside from all of that shit, today was semi-ok.

Wow, lots going on man. This is counter to what most gay people would say, but, keep being gay to yourself at the moment. I know you want to scream it out to the world. But, honestly, the world is not a caring place at the moment. People who are heterosexual truly don\'t understand how tough it is to say, \"Hey, I care about you and I really want you to know who I really am, the whole me: I am gay\"
Be super proud that you are so self aware and accepting of yourself that you can say unequivocally that you are gay! Accepting yourself is the first part.
Now, when you pick a college, carefully chose a place that is academically challenging but also open to diversity, particularly gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered students.
I\'d make sure I was finished with my undergraduate education and solidly in graduate school or that \"first job, apartment, and car \'in your name-title I mean\'\" before you come out to your family!
So many gay kids come out to their family and totally get slapped with rejection, hostility, and a meanness they never thought their parents or family would show to them! I\'ve seen it so many times. Believe me, you never want to get so desperate that you have to depend on someone else\'s help and kindness. You never know what that person will want you to do in return for their helpful hand!
Take a deep breath, relax, and keep working on self acceptance and discovering all that is wonderful about YOU!
Moreover, if you notice that you are feeling depressed, seek counseling! There is nothing wrong with cognitive therapy! That is why God created the field of psychiatry and psychology! At some point in a person\'s life, a unbiased, professional \"listener\" is always a helpful addition to your \"little red wagon\" of support and comfort.
Hey, stay positive and continue to over achieve. From one over achiever to another, the results are amazing once you start reaping the financial and societal benefits!
