MRI
Had another MRI today. The procedure doesn't bother me one bit, I had Nora Jones in my ear phones while what sounded like a construction team working away in the background. (or was it foreground?)
At one stage the technician broke in on my thoughts and asked if I was doing okay. When I said yes, he told me I was doing great. Which is pretty funny seeing as I was lying down, nearly asleep...obviously I am really good at both those things.
I was interrupted again for the contrast injection, which was almost painless. I was afraid to ask if he'd done it , in case he hadn't and I was also dreaming....
I go to the neuro in a couple of weeks, which doesn't fill me with delight as he wants me to change drugs and have a lumbar puncture, neither of which are remotely likely. I'm doing great on rebif and managing my life quite well. Maybe I didn't present as sick enough for the neuro!

Why does the neuro want to do a lumbar puncture? It does not bother me doing an MRI. It is hard for me to be still though. I hope you have good results from the tests.
Thanks! I\'m sure it will be fine, what will be, will be! As for the lp, well, he has suggested that I don\'t have MS, and this is despite previous MRIs which show I DO! He is the 4th neuro I have seen. Liviing in a country town where there is no resident neuro means we get whomever is prepared to fly in fly out. I only go because my doc wants to have some back up if I get sick.
