Well. she's back. The men at the repair shop gave me a whole heap of nonsense about what was wrong and wanted to charge me for their efforts, so when I went to collect the car I took my man with me.
It became a battle of wits! My man isn't a mechanic, but he is an electrician and a computer whizz so came back at the repair man with every scenario. It was funny.
Best bit was when the repair man told me that I had replaced the battery AND that the car's computer told them EVERYTHING.
I've never replaced the battery.
Saga over. Car back home.No charge. My man very pleased with his intervention.
