Last week I was complaining about the rain. Well it hasn't stopped for more than a few hours. Last weekend we were without power for three days. Generator to the rescue but we lost lots of beautiful trees in the storm and to top it all off my laptop was affected by the damp and had to have a new keyboard. I missed it for several days.
Power is back on now but lots of cleaning up to do.
I'm 59 today but don't feel much different!
Someone here was writing about the down side of MS but I think it has changed my life for the better. How ironic!
I came to live with a man who adores me; I am healthier than I have ever been and I am doing a job which gives me a great deal of satisfaction and none of these I would have had if I didn't have MS, so there's definitely an up side for me!

Happy Birthday! I am glad to hear the bright side of MS. We always hear the bad things that happen because of MS. It is good that you are able to look on the bright side. Glad you got your power back on. Take care!

Sorry to hear about the weather there and no electricity. I hate it when we lose the electricity. We have a generator too, but it scares me. We hook it up and leave it inside our garage. They are suppose to be 20 ft. from the house! My husband says it is okay, but I don\'t know, it scares me. But, thank goodness for the damn thing! Bummer that your PC was affected by the weather! Dampness can do some damage to a computer for sure.
Yes, it is strange that you feel MS has changed your life for the better. I think things happen in life for a reason. You met the man of your dreams for a reason, you found a job that you love for a reason. I think they would have come true had you not had MS. It\'s karma. Just like I don\'t think bad things happen because I have MS, I don\'t think good things happen because I have MS. But the important thing here is that you are a fulfilled person and that is wonderful news.
Happy Birthday & hope you were able to enjoy it. Sorry about the storm damage & the keyboard problem too. Made me thin maybe I wont give away a spare keyboard we have from old computer as you are second person in a week with damaged keyboard, other was in qld & lightning hit & damaged (Ithink).

I can understand you saying you saying you dont feel much different. I was the same on my bd last month but enjoyed time with a friend & Mum & Hubby & Chitty chitty bang bang too, that was all that was different.
