Had lunch today with our local group of MSers. It's a social group which began meeting a few months ago. We had a great time, swapping stories and various things that work or haven't. Met a girl who has the same doctor. (you can run but you can't hide!!)
Gave some of my 'fat' clothes to a carer who's just started her weightloss journey.
Later had coffee with a friend and offered her my mum's walker, which she gratefully accepted.
So, I rid myself of some unwanted stuff today and had a great time doing it!!
One thing which made me feel a combination of grateful - because I could be so much worse than I am; admiriring - of the ways we cope with our lot; and slightly annoyed - that the venue we went to doesn't have a great access for folk in wheelchairs.
Oh, and lots of laughs. Like the story of a cat who ran off with her owners teeth.

Sounds like a really nice day. It was good of you to donate your clothes to someone who can use them both for her and you. You must have a lot of energy to have lunch AND coffee with friends. This is good.
I guess one or some of your friends have a wheelchair and you couldn\'t get access into the restaurant? You gave away your walker, guess you don\'t need it? As long as you don\'t need it, it is good to help someone else who does. I have a walker and a rollator walker. I keep them both. I use one outside the home and one inside the home when I need it which isn\'t very often thank goodness.I\'m glad you had a nice day and wanted to journal it. Would love to hear that cat story sometime!
I have much more energy now that I\'m not carrying around all that weight! And, no, I don\'t need the walker, I don\'t even use a stick. I am one of the fortunate ones so I know that I must make the best of it.
The cat - Robyn leaves her teeth beside the bed. The cat loves to knock things to the floor, which she did, then ran off with the teeth.
I\'m glad you had a wonderful time. It sounds nice. I know it must be wonderful actually be able to talk face to face with some one else with MS. It is good that you donated your clothes and walker to others that need it. And the cat story is funny. Take care.
