What a huge week for me ! I did three funeral services and already have another lined up for next week. It's a dream job because of the hours and the people are always so lovely and appreciative of everything that's done for them. Yesterday I even got applause after the service which is unheard of !!! (ok, so the lady who started the clapping has dementia but it was still nice!) It's a long weekend here so I'm having a rest. We're off to a big fair on Monday and it's a huge local event which always provides lots of interest and entertainment. One of the cats brought in a tiny marsupial mouse the other day. My darlin rescued it and is nursing it back to health so we can hopefully let it go soon (far away from the cats!). Thse little creatures have longer back legs because they jump (like kangaroos) but they are similar in size to ordinary field mice.I did speak to the cats about their mistake but they just looked at me with big eyes and miaowed 'wtf' in cat language.
