Regardless of the fact that I live in an idyllic location and dont work very often, I still love weekends. This past w/e was really special because we finally cleared the decks enough to have overnight visitors and have neighbours over for tea.My youngest brother and his five year old son came to stay and we invited a couple of our neighbours to join us for a meal.It turned out to be one of the funniest nights I've had in a long time.Fuelled by some amazing cherryripe squares made from secret ingredients, lots of red wine and beer, we laughed until the wee small hours. Young Jack was hooked up to the cartoons so he was quite happy until he finally crashed at an almost respectable hour. I sent my brother off on Sunday with a boot full of 'good stuff' (yay! more junk disposed of) and one neighbour returned in the afternoon (with beer) and asked me to help edit a paper she was writing. I was amazed and delighted that my brain was still functioning!
