I had a fantastic Mother's Day. My two children had conspired to post me a beautiful framed photo of themselves with me and sent me a very lovely card in which they wrote how much they love me - so even though they weren't with me, they were. I spoke to them both and shed a few tears. Then off to see my Mum. My two brothers and two sisters were also there so it was something of a reunion. We picnicked in a park where Mum sat in her wheelchair and looked adoringly at all her children and grandchildren who were there. We had a sumptious lunch of potato chips, lamingtons, piklets and other junky delacasies and at the end of the day everyone was high on sugar. It was great! I have a week off from the Readathon so will spend my time getting ready for my youngest brother and his family who are visiting next weekend. Today I'm going to visit my sister-in-law in hospital. She came off her horse last weekend, broke both wrists, three ribs and her nose. She cant even scratch herself, poor girl. Unfortunately my double vision is doing its best to revisit me so I know I need to rest up a bit as well. Thats the only problem when you start feeling good. The temptation to do too much is overpowering!
