It's been awhile! Not that I've been too busy to write, just that my life has settled into a comfortable routine and the days seem to blend into one another.I have been doing quite a few funeral services and deriving great pleasure from discovering I can still get up in front of a crowd and deliver a meaningful tribute for someone who has died. I was concerned that the vaguries of my MS might get in the way but I have been fine. I only have to stand for about an hour and I can cope with that. I also was afraid I might get too emotional - not only for the families but for myself - but I have managed to appear sane and rational ! I do not divulge my condition to the grieving families , absolutely no need. On the home front things are just fine and dandy. My Darlin has gone off to Lightning Ridge for the weekend. He has an opal claim out there (it's an opal mining town) and although he never digs up anything remotly resembling an engagement ring, he just loves the challenge. I guess it's a bit like going fishing for other blokes. My beautiful boy was unfortunately involved in a car accident last weekend. Both my children, God bless them, saw fit not to tell me until the event was days old. The car Rob was driving was rear ended at at stop sign. The offending driver was going fast enough to push Rob's car into a power pole but neither Rob nor his passenger were injured. We worry so much about our children's safety on the roads, always cautioning them to be careful but we can do absolutely nothing to protect them from idiots. Lastly, but not leastly, (and this will only make any sense if you read ages ago about the angst I was experiencing thanks to the wayward boy in the flat) He's moving out on monday. Hooray. Oh. yes, and I've been well enough. An 80% day seems like a gift from above.
