On Saturday night we went to see the movie '3.10 to Yuma' starring Russell Crowe. It was excellent entertainment and I thoroughly lost myself in the fast paced western adventure. We can't help loving Russell - he's not only an Aussie actor but he lives only a few miles from here, at Nana Glen. He's a celebrity of international acclaim, but, you know what? round here, he's just another local. He drinks at the local pub and puts lots of business the local's way. He recently  paid for an olympic sized swimming pool to be built at the local primary school - a generous gesture which has gone relatively unremarked upon by the media.  I've also been to have a lower leg and foot massage  - what utter bliss !! It was primarily to try to give me some relief from this banding which has plagued me for weeks. It didnt make much difference to the banding but oh my, it was just sensational!!!!The weather has been kind - only to me! There has been so much rain the rivers and creeks are all flooded but it is so cool that I feel great.

I would wrap myself around Russell Crowe in a heartbeat, especially now that you tell me he\'s a regular dude!! There was one big hitch for me for 3:10 to Yuma....the Southern Pacific leg of the transcontinental railroad did not make it that far south. So...that bugged me since I\'m the kid of a US History teacher and know better! Oh well...:)
