Today we're off to the Tender Centre. This is a sort of auction place. You take in your unwanted goods and people bid on them and you sell to the highest bidder (if the price is right). I guess it's a bit like ebay only you actually get to see the goods before you buy and all the payments go through the management so there are no problems. We have a LOT of junk. Some of it came from the Tender Centre! My darlin in a sucker for little boxes of stuff which contain one useful item - then he's left with all the things he doesn't need. He's a horder, whereas I am ruthless when it comes to rubbish. Fortunately it hasn't caused any rows, just good natured teasing on both sides.Our last big purchase from the TC was a beautiful leather lounge suite which we bought for less than $200. That's my only worry - if we go in there, even to take things in, he will see something else that he just has to have!The weather is a little kinder today but I still dont feel on top of the world. Does this 'banding' ever stop?????On the plus side of my life, I think I've found a tenant for my house. I left my home (about 1000 kms away) to come live with my love. It's a quaint little cottage which I'd had heaps of work done on and I've been really reluctant to rent it to strangers. Now it looks as though a friend is interested. I know he will treat it as if it were his own - as he said to me last night 'I am a tidy old pouff.'

I love the idea of an auction house where you take your stuff to sell it... We have great days called \"Peddler\'s Days\" in my old town, and Guy still goes to sell there. However, someone has to stay on the farm and that usually means me. I fear if I sent stuff with him, I\'ll never see the money! The only problem we really have is that we are both PACKRATS and find it very difficult to get rid of anything! xoxoxo Cj

I love auctions like that! We had \"flea markets\" back home (Vermont) where everyone brought their folding tables, and filled them with goodies. I used to love it, but after a while, only the people with really cheap new stuff, they got from like dollar stores and what not were there, and they tried to over price things. I like random useless, or sometimes usefull stuff. I am sooo a packrat, and keep trying to curb my packrat ways, but it\'s hard. Right now in our computer room, ever wall has something in front of it, and we have two computers on and running, one that works but isn\'t attached to anything, and two more in the closet in pieces with two big boxes of hardware & wires.. LOL. ah, someday. I\'m getting better though!
I\'m fortunate enough to not really had experience with the banding. I have gotten the MSHUG once or twice - where it feels like someone is squeezing the air outta me, and just wrapping me in saran wrap or something. But fortunately that went away. Hope yours goes away!!! huz!

I LOVE my 2 cats. We have a old one(13yrs-Muffin) and a young one(9mo-Isabel). It has been so much fun watching them get used to each other. They fight a little we call it pawing each other like using there arms only. It was so sweet the other day watching Isabel grooming muffin. I would love to see Catzilla!
