Yesterday my darlin' brought home a delightful little kitten from the scrap metal yard. Typical of him, the big tough man - with a marshmallow heart, he couldn't resist! She is about 2 months old, black with white paws. At the moment she's finding it very scary coming to live in a house where there are three dogs and a very bad tempered cat already in residence but she'll settle down fine. We have called her 'Scrapy'. Last night we attended a seminar given by people who sell these ultra comfy but ultra expensive beds. (They stop all those  nasty bugs breeding, prevent pillow drool stains, have a herbal inlay and have some nanno silver woven into the fabric.)When we got there we were told that the presentation was upstairs. I am not up to stair climbing at the moment, so my darlin says 'Where's the lift?' The manager looked at me, leaning on my stick and said 'Oh,I see.'  I'm not very sure what she meant by that but honestly, as soon as we got outside we both roared with laughter. We got a free meal and a couple of very useful gifts. We did have to sit through the presentation and ohh and ahh over the softness, technology and all that - but in the end we went home to sleep on our cozy beg bug ridden mattress!
