I think the grass grew six inches over night. That one lovely thing about living in the sub tropics, everything is so green.The rain finally stopped over night. There's been flooding further north but none here, thankfully. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get into town today for my session at the beauty parlour.Unfortunately the rain brought a swarm of flying ants into the house. They aren't vicious, thank god, just fly around frantically , shed their wings everywhere and get in your clothes. We kinda had this St Vitus dance thing going while we trying to eat our evening meal.This morning there's dead ants everywhere. I've swept up a pile of them, along with a few dead jack lizards which the cat keeps bringing in and mutilating in the name of fun.
