Trip to the Tip.Yesterday we (well, he did all the work) loaded up the truck and went to the tip. I absolutely LOVE going to the tip, not just because it means we get rid of stuff but also because it's a really pretty drive out there. There is a really great woman there who is like the manager and she is always so cheerful and chirppy and directs your rubbish to the right spots. She asked us what we were doing for New Years and I said it didn't really matter because whatever you do, it's better than not having one.We wont do much tonight and I'll probably be in bed before midnight anyway. New Year's Day always feels more significant to me because it's always the day I start doing something really sensible like eating a healthy breakfast. It's no big deal.....the impulse usually leaves after a few days!

LOL... I also find those impulses to be fleeting... That being said, two years ago I started a walking program (at least 3 miles a day) and continue to this day. Funny, I haven\'t lost much weight though. This year, I\'ll try a real diet to go along with the walking which will help! LOL xoxoox Cj
I feel the impulse to give up liver, sky diving, and bourbon. Shouldn\'t be too difficult. I\'m very determined.
Cj you\'re soooo lucky to be able to walk. I find a stroll to the front gate is overdoing it! and feisty - DO NOT I repeat DO NOT give up bourbon!
yes feisty has to give up bourbon and sky diving as she uses one to do the other. hows the study going? i would think that you would work harder on it to night. lol happy new year
Thanks kay.The great beer/wine study is progressing slowly. I keep having to start again as I forget to keep track of the results.
