"It might be possible to be healed with MS even if I might not be healed from MS," http://www.nwaonline.net/articles/... These words are from Nick Masullo a man with the most virulent form of MS. He has discovered something which I am only just beginning to suspect about myself - that MSĀ  will actually make me a better person. If that sounds too good to be true - and no doubt there will be people who will read this and think WTF , how can a crap disease of any kind, heal you? But it is possible - because you can use adversity to actually get more from your life; to learn to put aside all those things which matter so little, and embrace the things that really matter like telling people how much they mean to you. Please dont think I am wacky but I don't hate my MS. It may be a part of me, but it isn't all of me.

I don\'t hate (or love) things that cannot hate me back. ;o)
I suppose, if I would stay as I am NOW, MS could help me to be a better person, but personally, I prefer other ways to do it. I\'m wondering: It is true that anything could happen to anyone to make them less reliable, but I find myself backing off, because it seems more likely that I may not be reliable when it could really count. Hmm.. But I still hope to be the best that I can be, which is what people really want.. I guess the whole thing gives a different view or perspective...
Have a good one, and thanks for writing.. :o)

Thank you so much for this! I decided to read the article then comment on your journal, and all I can say is you should have warned that tissues would be necessary! LOL

I have sent this link along to my friends as well as my MS support group folks. This is truly an incredibly inspirational story, and I am so glad that you posted this for all to see! In fact, I\'d love to see it posted in a section on DS for all to see. Very very worthwhile reading! xoxoxo Cj
