Yesterday I received a follow up letter from the Rehab Co. They are going to try to find me two days work each week. I'd quite like to do some work but I wonder how I'll get there since I can't drive at the moment and I can't climb into a bus because the step is a bit high. If I have to take a cab to work then all my earnings will go in cab fares......you gotta laugh!Anyway, the interview is for 30/11 and it's at a place probably 20 min from where I live. I know all these agencies mean well and are staffed by very good people, but they have little or no idea how physical restrictions can affect a persons ability just to get around.I'm adding this to today's thoughts because it's so full of positives. It is a response to a Discussion thread here called 'Hate'I hate it too.BUT as weird as this may sound, I'm also thankful for it! You see, had it not been for this MS, I'd still be so lost! MS has helped me focus on what God can do rather than what I can do. I can't do so many things, but God can do anything! I'm thankful for the patience I've learned thru frustration with my hand (it constantly has tremors) The frustration turned to patience as I learned to take my time. I'm thankful for the rest that MS forces me to take. I'm thankful for all the friends that I've met on here, without MS, I never would have met any of you. I'm thankful for the compassion I learned. Because of the pain I have been thru it helped me to understand how others feel. I hate MS, but I love and value each thing that I've learned by having it. I totally understand how you feel!
